Anyone looking for some early season exercise should come to Silverton for some boot-stompin fun this Fri-Sun (Dec 3,4,5) and next Fri-Sun (Dec 9,10,11).
Come scope some lines you hope to ski unguided in April, without finding them the hard way and getting cliffed out. As usual free skiing is earned for the bootpacking effort, and now you only have to pack a single day to earn a free day of unguided skiing in April, or two days will get you a guided day in Dec. Pack it deep and often, and earn up to 6 free ski days. All snow sliders welcome!

Are there any utards that are heading to silverton to bootpack over the next few weekends? I was hoping to go, but my friends have all bailed and I don't have enough money to pay for gas to go solo, if anyone is heading down there and has an open seat let me know. OR if you want to go and will pitch on gas I can drive. I was hoping to leave thursday night bootpack for two days and ski red mountain pass for a day and then come back sunday evening.
