Blizzard Titan Pro vs Dynastar Legend Pro

Blizzard Titan Pro 193 (125-95-115) vs Dynastar Legend Pro 194 (124-97-116)

Looking to get a pair for my father to crusie on. He's 6'7" at 270 lb or so....think Jaws from the Bond films, that's why he needs the big boards. He's currently riding a pair of 198 G41's,and before that it was a pair of 217 RD Valdez Extremes, but its time for him to update his quiver. No complaints from the G41's. He's got Super fats already for pow. I picked these two skis due to their long length and similar construction.

I'm thinking the Blizzard due to the slightly thinner waist, since he'll be rocking mostly Heavenly.

What about some Stockli Stormrider DPs?

Doesn't answer you question, but it fits the big and burly theme.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Biggest problem I see with the Titan Pro and the LP are price. Both of them are pretty spendy. However, I sure as hell wouldnt kick either one (or the DP) out of my quiver

I would select the Titan Pro, if he likes G41. LP is a noodle compared to Titan Pro.

i have been on the old super nobis (not exactly the same), 201 roids, 200 iggy FFL's 260#, and titan pros.

of all those i'd go with a titan pro. they really kick ass.

Really appreciate the feedback....Titan pro seemed like the one when I was flexing it in the shop.

    Just saw this bump...

Yeah, he did and he loves them. Its his everyday ski for cruising around Heavenly in the sun. However, he's a big guy, and only on the iciest days he uses his 198 G41's (his SL skis), and his Powder Plus's when its nuking. He has massive feet, so I haven't be able to run on these sticks. However, flex wise, everyone agrees that they are the stiffest skis on the market...period. If Krietler gets Blizzard to make a twin of these, I'll send them a deposit immediately.
