    2005 Surgery #2 - Jaws

So, here I sit on my couch for the second week this year. Never before have I burned 80 hours of sick time.

Some had asked questions on boards, so though I would share with the gimps. After a year a braces for prep, I got a dual breaking jaw surgery on Thurs. The top was cut all the way around and expanded in all directions (forward and widened), and the bottom was broken at both jaw bones and moved to center.

So, I am the one Tahoe resident right now not cursing the weather.....I am supposed to not ski for ten weeks. That said I am full face shopping, and I am just going to "play it by jaw"......

Whoa. I thought it sucked when I had some torture contraption as a kid that widened my jaw by turning the screw in it every day. That sounds a lot worse.
