I thought it was funny, but I have a really shitty, stupid sense of humor. Glad to see I'm not alone.

Guys, highwaystar has a valid point. Bas asked if he should buy freerides, or trekkers + real-man bindings. So stop beating up on him.

Wait, thats not what he was asking?

Cool man go buy yourself some "binders" (great thread there too btw) so you can no longer be paranoid.

I had this problem except with my Naxos. Everytime I threw down (read huge hucks) my skis seperate too. To solve this, I pulled the din adjusters off and put 5 nickels in the toes and heels and screwed them back together. I estimate it gives me a DIN of roughly 36.8. When I was at Killington on Oct. 30th, I threw down over this massive booter, probably launched me a good 4 or 5 ft in the air. I ate it hard on the landing and broke both of my legs, but at least my skis didn't come off. I would have had a hell of a time finding them in all the blower.

All I'm saying is that if you guys threw down or spent anytime in the BC, you'd be thinking a little bit harder about the whole situation, and not just trying to answer the question bas asked.

I'm also thinking that losing weight might be one way to not eject from your sub-14 DIN binding when you throw down (hard.)
