Quite possibly a rerun, but I just discovered LaunchCast radio on www.music.yahoo.com . In addition to existing radio streams, it has customizable web radio that plays a huge library of artists/songs based on one's preferences.
Example:
I rate Dio, Metallica, Iced Earth, etc. as "4-star" artists and I hear a lot of music from those and similar bands.
It's fucking brilliant (and a nice change from my previous favorite of rushradio.org)
