Trigger=pulled, happy but scared.... now updated with pics

Just bought a pair of Dynastar Proriders that are 196 long and measures 130-105-120. Supposedly one of the two pairs that exists with the Dragon/InBig design topsheet.
I`m stoked and looking forward to skiing them, but I`m also somewhat intimidated by their size. If anyone is asking for me I`ll be in the weightroom doing knee-bends....

    Pictures and TR to follow.

Guess what showed up on my door today....

See new post for more pics....

    g-damn!

i kinda feel in your boat, i just pulled trig on some sanouks and haven't skied anything over 182 in 7 years. i know they're wussy soft, but i'm still worried and was doing leg exercises in my apartment instead of lying on the couch and recovering from the death illness i've had for the past 10 days.

Hot damn! Enjoy them and let us know whether you get pwned or not first time on them.

Just let them run and get up to speed and them turn them.
I've got more suits than Liberace, but less than Eastvailhucker.

So ehh, any chance of getting to fondle them at some point? Where and when do you plan on skiing them? Considering what you prolly paid I guess the snow in Oslo this morning isn't really enough...

Ok, as I said pictures will follow. I just need to have the skis delivered first, rumors has it that the postman had to call in some backup to carry the HUGE brown box with my adress on it.... But rest assured, I`ll post pictures as soon as I get them. Any day now.

Fer sure, you can fondle them all you want. I will probably be skiing them mostly in Røldal this winter, unless of course I get laid off from my job in which case I`ll be heading down to the alps for the season. So if you are in Røldal any time this winter let me know.
Given your previous statements in other posts on how fast you get coreshots in your skis, I`d be a little reserved to let you ski them in Oslo today, even if I didn`t actually fork out that much for them.....

They finally arrived, and boy am I stoked. They are BIG and burly

Compared to my LP 186 they are significantly larger...

    Comparison of waist width:

    Tip profile:

    Lucky number:

In intial livingroom-flex testing they seem somewhat stiffer than my LP186, but this with the raised tail, when I flex them from the rearward contact point they seem to be more alike. Other observations include a lower profile tip on the 105`s giving them even more running lenght, and there is a number on the tails is similar to those found on true race stock Dynastar skis. All in all they are big ,fat, heavy and burly. The original plan was to put some Hammerheads on them, but I might reconsider putting telebindings on them for the time beeing and try them out with the alpine bindings first.
TR to follow when we get some more snow here. Currently we have a superb base of at least 3 cm.....
Thats it, I`m off to the weightroom again.

    Edit:My spelling is piss poor...

Ahh, the return of the Nobis white topsheet.
I guess Orange ain't what it used to be.

They make your LP 186 look like toothpicks.

Hmm, I just might have fondled and flexed this very pair two years ago when the suspected seller visited Valley X. Just wanted to say that...

Btw, I'm game for some Oslo big mountain shralping any day. Can I borrow some boards from you in that case?

That's a whole lot of ski for tele. I ski the 186 LPs tele, and they keep me busy.

    Wow, sweet skis however mounted!!!
