    S900 9-16 Heel Question

Here is my question...last year I clicked into my bindings and the little plastic cover that has the DIN numbers on it flew off. Hmm, so I epoxied it back on. But now the little white thing doesn't move when it should...so I have no idea what my DIN is at. Here is my question...if the screw is backed off a lot (like a really low DIN, not sure how low cause the thing doesn't move) the heel lever gets really loose. But when I tighten it up it gets hard to push down (how it should be). Can a shop just use their little machine to test where the DIN is at and I tighten the screw that way. Does this make any sense at all?

i would put it a just a *little* softer than your other heel - based on the length of the plunger from the housing
try figuring out how many turns from the min line you go in till X DIN...

ski w/ a screwdriver for a day or two, and tighten as needed.
    go for rob

Thanks Marshal...that's kinda what I was thinking. This means I get BD's! I found two pair of these in my shed, so I have bindings for them.

Yes. What they test out as is the true DIN anyway. The little indicator is really just a ballpark starting point. So count the threads on the barrel in the heel and match it to your other binding as a start, then have a shop test them out and fine tune them to the same release after you mount them.
