Look PX metal binding beta??

So does anyone have info on the new Look pro bindings?
What I've heard is there will be 16 and 20 din versions, all metal of course and same heel as the PX (not a turntable). They are supposed to be machining the bindings right now for team members until the moulds are made, and hopefully a mid season release.
Sounds like Look is seriously ditching the turntable after four decades!

That is the first pic I have seen. Interesting they have stuck with the old toe piece rather than making a metal version of the drive toe.

Interesting, but Rossignol still lists the FKS bindings as their race bindings on their website. But the change might be coming.

When you're putting that much pressure on a ski edge, you don't want any upward releasability at all, because edge pressure torques the ski longitudinally and puts a lot of upward pressure on the outside of the toepiece.

Fat skis also put a lot of upward pressure on the toe and heelpiece when you're on edge, even if you're not skiing like Bode. This is why 916s work so much better on Spatulas then 914s.

I might be wrong, but I think I remember someone on here saying that Look would make a PX18 binding this year - PX14 construction, but DIN to 18 - in addition to the P18.
