    LINE PROPHET & ELIZABETH DELIVERY

We now expect delivery of the Prophets and Elizabeth to be approx. Dec 15th. I realize this is not what you wanted to hear but I'd rather you know the facts straight from Line. With many of you waiting since fall, we really appreciate your patience and can only reinforce that these skis are well worth the extra wait. Most of our other models are now in stores but these were being made at the end of production = last to be delivered on an already late delivery year. If you have a pre-order with a shop I strongly suggest you keep it since there is more demand for these skis then actual skis produced and this way you're guaranteed to get yours. Remember, you'll still have them before the season really gets good.

Thanks again for your patience and support,
    Jason Levinthal

Thanks for stopping by Jason. Keep making the goods and we'll keep buying them.

I figured I'd hear something about it but I was also figuring there was room to cut me a break. You know, after naming my company after it, I couldn't resist. I think it will be pretty difficult anyway to confuse us here or on the hill.

This can only be settled by a two-man chinese downhill. I'll bring the popcorn.

You're right. That Gordy Peifer fellow wouldn't be caught dead sliding rails on skiboards. Just kidding. Glad to have you here. Line makes some quality boards.

Having fondled a pair of my buddy's for the past couple of weeks, I can honastly say they are indeed worth the wait. Avery well made, well thought out ski. Any thoughts on mounting point for the maggot contingency Jason? I know he's thinking the reccomended line but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Definitely line up the arrow stamped with the serial number with the center of your boot. This is the center of the further back set of inserts, you'll get the most float and directional stability and handling out of it. The forward mounting (37mm forward) is for a skier that wants a slightly more freestyle type feel that they may be use to if they also ride a narrower freestyle ski.

I tried to attach a pic to redeem myself of Meatdrink9's circa '98 image but kept saying failed. The file was .jpg and under 100kb, any suggestions?

Why don't you just use "Line"? After all, that's your company name and as far as I know, it's not taken here.
Putting the "core" in corporate, one turn at a time.

yea, thats what i figured. in fact, i was expecting it to be a question about delivery, to which a slew of "tech talk jong"s would follow. after seeing who it is though, don't ya think we should maybe cut him just a tiny slack?

Line would would be a lot cooler than spelling out a name that's already in use...

or maybe he could go with DSide11-12.

There will be all kinds of confusions between you and "8" at least here, if not on the hill. It is a pretty good idea to change it, imo.

Despite the fact that it was my fault that Dside11-11 came into being after I bugged him about using the name Darkside, I am officially on the "who gives a shit?" team in this instance.

Thanks for posting the info Jason. It's much appreciated. Any word on shipping of the 182 Mothership Flights? I've got a pair on an employee order and would love to start touring with them soon.

Better to leave a few people jonesing than end up with a warehouse full of unsold skis imo.

True, but if we're going to get all economonical I'd say it'd be even better to make the right number of skis to fulfill demand. Or is it all about the "hype"?
