    Marker binding Q's

I bought some used skis that had marker bindings already installed. I adjusted the bindings as small as I could but when I put my boot in it shows there is some forward pressure but not enough to make the pressure indicator flush with the heelpiece. So my questions are: Can I ski with slightly less-than-optimal forward pressure so long that there is some... and what are the results? My guess is that I'd release more often but you guys are the experts. P.S. the pressure indicator is half way between fully out and flush. Thanks.

How far away are you? Are you within 1 turn of flush with the housing?

When used with the Motion system on Volkl skis, it is a very rare occation that the forward pressure on the Marker heel is flush with the housing (just not possible with that mechanism)

Usually, we'd err on the side of increased forward pressure. However, if you're maxed out and are showing at least some forward pressure, you could try it. Generally, the forward pressure is required to preload the system, and take up any "extra" clearance in the boot-binding connection.
