...for a 1998 Marinoni road bike. Steel frame,Ultigra components, Mavic rims, has a fight deck on it....tires are fair. All in all in really good shape. What do you roadie types think this bike is worth? Specify Cdn or US$.

You don't need freerides when you got freeheels
What model Ultegra? 8, 9, or 10? STI, I assume...
Ultegra all around? Original BB and headset? All tight?
It's idomatic, beatch.
I would not pay more than $600-$700CDN MAX if it from the 90's. It is most likely 8 or 9 speed. A flight deck is just a computer, don't get distracted by it. Think about upgrade compatabilities and whether or not you can buy parts if they break. Here is a link so that you can compare prices for other road rides. You can get some pretty nice bikes for relatively cheap.

Recently overheard: "Hey Ralph, what were you drinking that time that you set your face on fire?"
It is a 9 speed. Yes Ultigra all around. Not sure if BB and headset are original most likely, but they are tight. It's got mileage on it but has been well taken care of. The guy who owns it said make him an offer. I rode this bike on a century ride in Aug. it rode well.
I'll check out your link Oarhead. Thanks

Marinonis are very nice bikes. I've a friend with one. If it's 98, then it likely has 9-speed gruppo. Because they don't really advertise, the cost of their bikes new is less than that for most companies. What kind of steel?
$600-700 U.S. sounds like a good deal for you.
