    fks185 heel wiggle

Got a pair of older 185s and one of the heel pieces wiggles... maybe too much.
the plastic cap on the top of the arm is missing.
I know that these are functional, just are they going to be rigid enough for super duper gnar-gnar Big Mountains?

Do they wiggle with boot in?

Or do they have the normal hanging there open wiggle?

Took a gander at a Look Z7 heel. You are missing the plastic spacer that
goes between the "flanges"? It is probably useful for maintaining the spacing if the pivot got whacked. For weather too. If you can't find an old one(they pop out readily), give me a PM and address, i can mail the one i popped out.
Might want to throw a dab of Sillycone when you drop a new one in.

Yeah, my P18 arms definitely wiggle with the boot out, but I've never had a prerelease (skiing park on these) even though the wiggle made me nervous at first.

I can't comment on the plastic piece you're talking about.

Phunk, would you reccomend them for park(i.e not too heavy)? I just ordered a new second pair for my super-gnar-shred sticks and would like to put these on my invaders.

Plenty of top park pros use them (Almost the entire Armada team, since a lot of them are ex-Rossi skiers)

    Sorry, just saw this post.

Yeah, I would. They weigh pretty much the same as Pivots, plus they are bomber. I'm going P18's on the park skis, the fatpow skis (that get toured on too) and the BC jibbing skis.

Even if they were heavier, you wouldn't notice it after your first day.
