Shipping Binders - $7.70 USPS priority mail

I just got back from mailing bindERS (yes, you anal retentives, they were DIN 18) as well as some bindINGS.

After telling me my box would cost $18 to send priority mail (Ohhh, and only $17.25 via parcel post), he says "hey, we got this one price box that has no weight limit"

Long story short, my box fits INSIDE their special box and I only get charged $7.70!!

Moral of the story: Go to USPS and get a Free box that easily holds binders and will save you lots of money.

    P.S. - its the one that's 11" X 8.5" X 5.5"

Shipping skis priority mail seems to be one of the easiest ways to go too. 1/2 the cost of ups, but not really anything for tracking...

I discovered this a couple weeks back when I sold some bindings. Some folks insist on using UPS for the tracking though.

Do you mean delivery confirmation? They don't have the sort of tracking that UPS has, where you can see where and when the package is on it's way to the destination.

Actually they do, I use it all the time. It says when it gets into a town, and when it leaves, and delivery date.

Good call Core Shot. I knew of the $3.85 flat rate envelope, but didn't realize there is a box as well.

By the way, you can order the boxes (to be sent to you for no charge at all) on the USPS website.
