    p-14 lifter plate?

Apologies for a jong'ish question... Anyhow, I have look/rossi lifters, and was wondering if I can mount the binders without the lifter plate? I'm just wondering if I need a rubber insert or something?

Bump, because I have the same jongish question.

I bought some P-14s over the phone and didn't check to see if they were lifted. They are blue with a red "race" stripe. They have ~ 1cm lift. I can't tell if the lifter is removable or not.

If it is removable, could they be mounted with shorter screws?

I've purchased multiple p14's in the past. The "Race lifter" version has the lifter, the "Race" version does not.

Both bindings are 100% the same other than the plates and screws (screws are longer on the lifter version)

Anyway, all you need to do to mount them without the lifter is swap the mounting screws out for shorter ones(any good ski shop will do this free) Just be sure to tell whoever is mounting them to be 100% sure not to use the longer screws. In my case I dropped the bindings off minus the lifter and the screws just so they would not mess up.

In any event, if you’re still worried, get yourself some p14 race bindings, not the p14 race lifter

    Laramie,

Man, Ive explained this to you sooo many times.

P14 race = Scratch (only without the wide brake). Same lift, same binding.

Oh yeah, and I'm not trying to sell you bindings, mine have been sold to someone in the know after you flaked.

    Good luck -A
