disc: disc 3 of the Bob Marley "Songs of Freedom" set. Love disc 3.

song: Running Away: "can't run away from yourself...said you must have done, whoa, something wrong....why you can't find the place where you belong....running away.....everyman think that his burdon is the heaviest...who feels it knows Lord...can't run away from yourself"

Everything I own is in the cd player right now. It will hold 301 discs. My truck has a tapedeck with an old police tape in it. Zenyata mondata on one side & synchronicity on the other. If I don't get one for christmas I'm buying a cd/mp3 player for my truck.

Schweet. Got it on my MP3 player. Gotta check out the Allison Krauss. I have a killer 2CD Bluegrass collection from our local PBS Station called "Plum Pitiful." I'll burn you a copy if you're interested.

I no longer listen to CD's - I bought an Archos Jukebox (20GB) and travel around with about 300 cd's worth of music... roughly 5000 songs at 125mbps. I highly recommend it, especially since it's about 1/3 the price of a comparable iPod. I got mine off eBay for $200 brand new.

Getting a lot of play lately:

    White Stripes - Elephant
    Violent Femmes - Greatest Hits
    The Cure - Disintegration
    The Samples - No Room
Big Head Todd - Midnight Radio

Also various shit I download from Kazaa, listen to once or twice, then discard.

I am such a tragic hipster. Although they rocked my socks off at Irving Plaza.

And a little Drive by Truckers to smooth out the fat riffs.

MacDaddy - as our British friends can attest, the Darkness rocks. Who would think that Tiny Tim fronting AC/DC would work, but it does. F'in phenomenal live. These guys really lay it down. Roo, Mulletizer...Comments?

FlowB. I was a rocker in the 80's and I guess I still am at heart.
I saw "The darkness" on MTV. I usually dont watch MTV that much because of the overkilled Hip Hip hop hop crap but, this one Buzzworthy clip came on with some retro arena rock riffs and crazy looking/acting leading singer with an amazing voice for this type of music....caught my attention, and the rest is history.
The video was awesome because the band was not afraid to make fun of its self.
I just ran over to Wasatch CD exchange and picked it up for 11.97
I'm stoked now I've got two copies I gues one will be a gift

I cant wait for these guys to start touring the US

Zepplin: How the West was Won.

This album has been consistently blowing my mind for 5 months.
You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.

The Cure used to be my favorite band. I was as obsessed about them as I am now about Radiohead. Disintegration (as mentioned above) is still one of my favorite albums (though it doesn't get much play anymore). Standing on the beach staring at the sea is sick as well. I've got one kind-of Cure import (Robert Smith sings on the album). It's called Blue Sunshine by The Glove. It's absolutley sick. Next time I get a chance to edit some skiing video songs from that disc will be used.

In my player right now... Lost Horizons by Lemon Jelly

Funny how these things work. I don't know why, but last night I was laughing about The Cure lyric "let me take your hand I'm shaking like milk."
