I want to take some photos that are able to be blown up poster size 24X30ish this is just recreational, so I was wondering if I could do it somehow with 35mm???? Any low budget suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Before the advent of digital photography, pictures couldn't be expanded much beyond postcard size due to pixel bleedover.
What kind of Digi Resolution would I need? My 2 Megapixel sucks

Are you High????
20x30's are definatly possible from 35mm film, that size and many larger prints have been made from film fopr a very long time. Its generally accpeted that 35mm film will still produce a better 20x30 than a digital image.
I assume you mean 20"x30"
Sure... 35mm is fine. For best results use a low speed film (50 or 100) a tripod and a fixed focal length lens or professional zoom stopped down 2-3 stops.
