still considering it. Watching the telemetry to see how it goes. May end up going, but probably not. Thinking I may have to wait until next weekend. Tommorow should be good though. Everyone should have an awesome time.

Whipped spackling compound, weighty merigue, a slurry of bat guano and styrofoam. That was a lot of the snow at Crustal today. Grabby, sticky like the toads of your short forest. But there were softer stashes, away from the light, away from the wind, fun snow for pedal turns.

But what a day. Scrambling for shoes, diapers, clothes and off to drop the kids at Grandma's and then zip up to the old ski hill.

Got up there about 10 and it was ___jammed___!!! All of lots B & C full, we got stuck down in lowest lot D. And no shuttles, so the long slog was in. But today was not a day of snagging freshies or rallying for the first chair. It was a day to ski with my best old pal, my wife.

Swamped with peed clothes (no, not all mine), tugged at for more nippy, strength and patience that has no peer. We got to ski together again. >>>w00t<<< does the joy no justice.

A couple of runs down West Face, some Groin Valleys and decided not to wait for the Snorting Elk rope drop and went over to 6, siding through Lucky Shot trees where there was amazingly good low angle pow. I watched and drank up the view of the old girl, feeling her turns, testing the snow and bouncing around the little trees and dips.

You could hear the crust on the S. exposures, so we headed over to the shade and found 2 sweet runs of soft tapioca on runs we'd skied a hundred times. 600 times up there? 3500 hours logged. All pre-kid. And now with the initialization code set up, we're back. What a way to start the year.

I hope you all got some.
