Short term still looking good, but this concerns me:

IF THE GFS PANS OUT WE COULD SEE A RATHER HEAVY RA ON SN EVENT FOR THE MOUNTAINS WITH SNOW LEVELS RISING TO 7000 FEET MIDWEEK GIVING HYDRO PROBLEMS TO SOME RIVERS.

Pray that 7000 feet number goes down some!

As much as it sucks, a little rain after all this snow might be good for stability. It's pretty standard weather behavior for around here anyway.

After spending all day out on the snowpack on various aspects, I couldn't agree with you more. Right now it is at the crux of what kind of snowpack we can expect for awhile. It's 4-6 feet of fairly light, but punchy snow, and incredibly hollow. Since it's all fallen in one big dump, it really, really, needs a consolidation cycle to lock it all together. You can still blow thru it to the ground right now.

Besides, what does the AD care? He goes to work instead of Crystal.
    OOOOOOOHHHH, I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!
