Yeah so I went skiing with Iceman early this AM.
Conditions were a little funky as we stood atop our selected pitch. It seemed like the tour that brought us there was amazingly short, so little effort for the bounty that clearly awaited us, we had popped out on a tiny ledge near the top of a large steep face, so steep that I felt the need to cling to a stump to keep from sliding down. We could see that about 200' of greenery and rocks separated our position from the goods and while I'm not sure why it seemed like the only way/the only good way both of us were one track minded that we would "ski" the grass/rocks down to the snow and then just tear on from there.
Ice being the trooper he is didn't bat an eye when I told him that I was going to stick on the ridge he planned to ski before angling over to the little arroyo, and hucking off the small edge positioned right on a rollover. It is great having a partner with full confidence in your ability to stick a blind drop onto grass and rocks.![]()
Aparently, I am starting to finally get in the mood to ski although it is odd to see that even in dreamland I've got a pessimistic early season POV.I guess that's what I get for hanging out last night with the fucking Utards that are in town.
umm and I don't know why it was Ice, it just was![]()
