Question Mounting Freerides on 176 Scratch BC, where??

Been reading some reviews and word is looking like 1 CM back if no park/pipe or switch, which I wont be.

These will be my BC setup, looking for the freshies.

Any words of wisdom or experience?

no word of experience but I am curous on this one too. I'm mounting mine on 182 Scratch BC's.

Right now I'm thinking 1 cm back as well. When I skied these with alpine binders they would tend to dive when mounted on the center mark. But I have heard some guys mounting them a bit forward to get rid of the backseat sensation with freerides.....

I'd rather shim the freerides then move them forward

    but thats just me
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

Well, I read center to 1 CM back, to get rid of dive. But I also don't want to be backseat either, so I am wondering where to mount em. I have not heard the backseat issue with Freerides, but again, I have been in the snowboard world for a long time.

    More, more.

I'm going to probably either remove the toe shim or mount .5 back

    well,
since your gaper ass bought a way too skinny ski for touring to the pow already, then you prolly want to mount those babies starting with your heel piece right at the very end of the turned up tail and then go forward from there for your toe piece placement so your gaper ass can get maximum wheelie potential to keep from sinking

ah pipe down, 90 under foot is just fine for this gaper, don't/haven't gotten into fatter (yet).
