USPS + Bad Memory = No Ski Pants or Jacket

So I sent my venerable Patagonia Dimension jacket and venerabler Drop Seat pants back to Patagooch for some repairs. It's been 4 weeks, and I was getting worried, so I called them to see what's up. Turns out that they never got them.

I sent the stuff USPS, and insured them for some value (which I've forgotten), but can't find the receipt proving the shipment and insurance.

So basically I'm fucked. No jacket and no pants. I skied the past two weekends in an old, but functionalish jacket and a pair of carhartts. This worked for blue sky and manmade, but won't work this weekend.

Moral is - don't trust USPS with anything valuable. And save your receipt.

I agree. They only seem to be reliable when you don't have something important coming. They totally fucked me when I was building my computer and I was ordering a bunch of parts from different companies. I had to send shit back throughout the whole process and they were absolutely no help.
    Who's mondo man?
    Oh, he's just some dude.
