    Mammoth Opener

So Mammoth is saying they're opening on Thursday, Nov 10th. Anyone here planning on being down there that weekend? Since it looks as though Tahoe joints might not be opening until the weekend after.....I'm considering rallying down pending what gets squeezed out of the clouds between now and then.

Also, this is going on that weekend as well: PowderWhore movie showing brought to you be the fine folks at t-tips.

Ty, Lego and I would totally be there, however we're heading to the bay area to see the Stones/Metallica concert.

We'll be at tha Wood (hopefully, if it ever snows for realz) on Saturday, the 18th...

Hmmm....blurred's point is valid (nice new avatar by the way).

But depending on that.....if Mammoth is open on the weekend of the 12th and no one else is.......Brit and I will be there. (that is my only weekend I can ski before another fun surgery--which will take me out for 3 weeks). I hope to be skiing somewhere that weekend!!!

Off to Mexico tomorrow..........fkna......will be beach livin, but snow dreaming.

Hmmm, mammoth opening huh. So like broadway, maybe cornice/climax and stump. Thats from the guys doing the blowing. It was t-shirt weather here tonight and i'm pretty sure they aren't blowing. Its been pretty warm lately for blowing snow. I hear broadway will be for sure but thats it right now. Opening is in a week and a half and we have no weather in the 1 week forecast. However, if you make the trip drop me a line, I'd like to meet a few of you mags.
If you open a second beer and don't miss a beat between sips, is that two beers or just one 24 ouncer? -Tye 1on

Couple of us will be there for sure Friday am. Gots to p/u some new Tele boots 1st, then cutting the ribbon by 10am.

Snow moving in somewhere around the 8th.

Might be there, might not. It totally depends on conditions. If there's natural snow and lots of stuff open I'll be there. If it's just Broadway, I'll wait a week or two.

(I picked Nov 25 as the first storm with more than 6" in the Mammoth Forums pool. I was hoping this would be an anti-jinx, since I never win contests, but now I'm starting to wonder.)
