First tracks on Blackcomb

Saturday Oct 29 - Hiked up blackcomb from Lot 7 to the Horstman glacier (all the turons thowing rocks at the bears though we were crazy) and shredded 500 m vertical of boot to knee deep pow. And then a nother couple hundred meters of grassy snowy fun in the dark

The 7hr round trip would have been a lot quicker if we hadn't been caught by some trail mainenance dudes while trying to 'borrow' an ATV we found at the snow line with the keys in it. But really they were pretty chill about the whole thing and let us keep on hiking instead of sending us home.

Although there was a lot of snow there wasn't much of a base off the glacier and we were all thankfull we had our rock planks. But with another 4" forcast to fall last night it looks like we'll all be given'er in no time at all.

I just figured part of getting up hung over at noon and deciding to go shreddin on a whim was forgeting the camera... as well as water, lunch, gloves and a toque
