Knock, Knock, Knock/Who is it?/It's Mad Skeez!

Woke up a bit hungover and nasty this morning. Went to let the cat out. Oh, what's this skinny brown box.

Got a pair myself. Maybe we need an ANT krew, word.

Good luck finding a deal on them, there were very few pairs made.

    Thumbs up

Damn those Ants are sexy. Got to fondle a pair the other day and flex feels very very similiar to big daddys. Gorgeous.

Huge twin is a bit of a turn off, but still sweet...

Looks like Flow's info was from you. I haven't asked my rep yet, but I was going to just call the company up and confirm. I will also compare to 189 Made'ns, 188 Gun Labs, and whatever else is around that is a similar size.

Update: Broke out the tape measure, the center line marked on the ski is 7cm back from true center. This line looks way forward, so I was thinking of going 2-3cm back of the line, which would put me around the 9cm back recommendation that came from Armada.

i mounted mine the other night.

the word from armada was ANT rides his 5cm back from chord center for jumping and 8 or 9cm back for big mountain slaying.

i had decided i would mount mine at 7cm back, halfway between jumping and big mountain. when i measured everything out 7cm back ended up being right on the suggested mount point (just like darkside reported). after moving the jig one and two cm back from the line and looking at it, then moving it again and looking at it i said fuck it and drilled the holes at 7cm, right on the line.

soooo... the mount looks pretty progressive. there is a good bit of tail back there, but it doesn't seem un-reasonable.

i'll report back on how they ski over the weekend. heading to crystal tomorrow then ??? saturday or sunday.

i mounted an old trusty pair of solly 11-17's

p.s. rocked my ANTs at crystal on friday and all i can say is whoa! i got spanked pretty hard. they rode me more than i rode them initially, but toward the end of the day when my legs were just about shot to hell i had one 500ft session that was totally on. those skis are gonna kill it when i get my legs back to full power.

Hell yeah! It's hard to believe that there's no metal in them. They're hardly an every day ski, but for the deep days when you've got your midseason legs under you, they'll kill it for sure.

Nope. 916s would be easy, i have the jig. Looks would be lighter, but then i'd have to bend the brakes.

i think i just needed some warming time. today was a totally different story. got the first day jitters out of the way, started speeding things up and putting some heat on the ANTs. they rocked! super stable big ass platform, mobbed the PNW tater pow. i'm stoked to point um down some big lines.
