Question Scratch BC/Fritschi Freeride Mounting Q's

I was wondering if it would be adviseable to mount forward of the "modern" line on scratches... if so, to what extent? I'm told the progressive sidecut would feel awkward ahead... I don't want to be centered but it just seems that both mounting locations are in the back seat. Also... I read a couple articles on ski mounting and I can't get a clear idea of what size drill bit to use to mount freerides... I read 4.1mm for metal skis and 3.6-3.9mm for non-metal skis. I know its getting nit-picky but where in the 3.6-3.9 range should I be? thanks

Do you realize that you've just posted an admission of ignorance so breathtaking that it disqualifies you from commenting on any political or economic threads from here on out?
