    SLC

Arrive at noon sat --> mon afternoon. Some biz, some house hunting, some free time to get crazy in the temple square. Staying at the Marriot D-town with both nights and Sat afternoon free.

    Talking

So besides the fact that the weather is gonna be rainy and not nice, and truth can't really do anything beyond crutch around angrily, the JONG was pretty much on point. Squelch the hate.

well i hear the downtown marriott has a nice bathroom in the starbucks. you could just hang out there.

or go to the aquarium (in a land locked state like utah? come on, now!) or the zoo (elephants in utah? please!) or to a ward meeting (make sure it's a singles ward, though)

Just a bit of SLC history. Did you know that Billy Idol did an impromptu concert in the nude at that Marriott hotel in SLC.

This made me laugh too. Watch that other channel, they'll set you straight.
(unless its like that Curb Your Enthusiasm episode, in that case, get ready for sunny skies and mid 70's all weekend.)

the bayou was the one place I finally crumbled and got a membership to in Utah (i'd always vowed not to get one)...then it got crowded and frankly it was never that great. It has lots of good beer, that's about it. I guess the ambience is OK. But the customer service is terrible and the food is even worse (except for the fries). Meh.
