At least there's no snow so we don't have to hear you bitch about not being able to ski.

except they probably wanted to convert me
Here's a pic from a little project we're doing here at work: (not taken by me)

its going to be a nice weekend here. so enjoy the canyons with some biking, climbing, etc.
im apparently too much of a JONG to give good info on anything, so i wont make specific suggestions, but lets just say :
patagonia outlet major sale this weekend. good time to be in SLC.
Except for the fact that you might want to bring an umbrella for Friday and Saturday, when it's going to be cloudy and raining.Originally Posted by lynniefish

hmm, i hear snow in the mountains on friday night, but sat and sun were going to be nice, like this week.
maybe that roland guy on channel 5 has his tupee on backwards. i dont know.
So besides the fact that the weather is gonna be rainy and not nice, and truth can't really do anything beyond crutch around angrily, the JONG was pretty much on point. Squelch the hate.
The irony here is rad.Originally Posted by lynniefish
well i hear the downtown marriott has a nice bathroom in the starbucks. you could just hang out there.
or go to the aquarium (in a land locked state like utah? come on, now!) or the zoo (elephants in utah? please!) or to a ward meeting (make sure it's a singles ward, though)
Truth, sorry to hear you're still limping around...lots of halloween stuff going on this weekend if you want to join in...

Just a bit of SLC history. Did you know that Billy Idol did an impromptu concert in the nude at that Marriott hotel in SLC.Originally Posted by truth

i WISH no one went to the bayou anymore, then we would be able to go. sadly its one hot spot these days.
Am I the only one that finds this funny? BWA!Originally Posted by lynniefish
the bayou was the one place I finally crumbled and got a membership to in Utah (i'd always vowed not to get one)...then it got crowded and frankly it was never that great. It has lots of good beer, that's about it. I guess the ambience is OK. But the customer service is terrible and the food is even worse (except for the fries). Meh.Originally Posted by lynniefish
I'm staying at the Plaza Sat night, Kitty corner from the Marriott.
If you have your people call my people I'll meet you for a beer and truly find the true Truth?
