    Chasing The Snow

Some of you may remember me whining about never having skied deep powder. Hopefully I'm going to rectify that in a few weeks time.

Brownmonkey, Gincognito, MIT and my bad self will be heading to the Alps with a completely simple brief. Just go where the snow is deepest. We'll have a car that still smells brand new, a shitload of cameras, a few crates of Red Bull, a whole lot of dumb adrenaline and a ferry ticket.

    WOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOO!!! Steau C'Onne.

Does this mean your boss liked my snowchasing in a hot car idea? Or...did you get fired for stealing a car?

Boss doesn't know anything about it yet. He just made a miscalculation with my holiday leave and told me I had to take a week off before Christmas. Result!

Don't forget doll parts, an array of cheesy japanese movie monsters, an inflatible love doll or two.

We expect the local cured meats to shake with fear.

I remember. I also remember a vid of you balaclava'd up, throwing yourself of a balcony in Alpe D'Huez into chest deep snow. What happened, did you not ski it?

    I hope you find it.

I was on a snowboard that year. It was the big snow year in Alpe d'Huez and wasn't really good enough at snowboarding to fully take advantage. It was during my 'jaded with skiing' period.

    I'm scared.

Sick and ashamed and happy (and Mit might be surprised to read this (wheels were turning while he was working)),

Now when you say brief, do you really mean pants? And only one for all of you to share?

I haven't seen the '40 Year Old Virgin', but the resulting story of this trip will probably have some similarities to it. Is Gin the one with the most experience in the car? Good luck, God speed, post pics.

Gin's the only single man amongst us, so it's incumbent upon him to bring the briefs. And an axe for chopping up unattended bicycles. And some mace for incapacitating people in autoroute toll booths. And a Phil Simms Digital Raping Clock.

Roo, when and where are you going? I am in France/Switzerland/Italy/Austria for almost 4 weeks from December 20 to January 20 hunting for powder.
