She had bigger balls than Julian Carr, Jamie Pierre, Nobis, Morisson, and McConkey put together.
Electing a black president, or electing a female president will not even come close to being as big a deal as what this woman did.

A phrase that's been echoing in my brain since I heard:
We are all better off for the courage of her convictions.
Fare-thee-well Ms. Parks.

"You look like you just got schnitzled..."
RIP. Inspiration. I read one of her previous interviews today, she never really saw herself as a hero. But she was, and is.
This touchy-feely Kumbaya shit has got to go.

Definitely one small step for a woman, one giant leap for mankind. The embarrassing thing is that our country even needed someone like Rosa Parks if you know what I mean.
Rosa Parks was a great lady. Her courage and convictions made this world and this country a better place. RIP
One lady who's actions actually spoke louder than her words. Those are hard to come by.

PBS News Hour had a really good tribute/overview of her life and actions tonight on their broadcast. Check it out if its not too late in your area.
RIP RP!
RIP Rosa Parks, and may people have half the courage she did to do the right things in this world.
Years later, Parks said "When I got on the bus that evening I wasn't thinking about causing a revolution or anything of the kind. ...
"But when that white driver stepped back toward us, when he waved his hand and ordered us up and out of our seats, I felt a determination cover my body like a quilt on a winter night." (Rosa Parks)
