I like that one too, but I probably won't have it.![]()
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

Dammit, that's the right size, but I have neither the money (yet) nor the doctor's permission to ride it as it should be ridden.Originally Posted by karma

vapor lock - bitch.
Bag what the hell do you need a 6pack for?? Thought you had the hots for the Highline...
And IMO the Nomad is the most over-hyped bike this year. And talk about a serious threat to your junk with that bar hump!![]()
I agree with the first sentence... Regarding the second, do you ride on or near your handlebars?Originally Posted by Particle
I do, the 6 Pack will replace the Heckler.Originally Posted by Particle

Bag is giving up his left nut so I can get a fully built nomad. I don't care what anyone says about that guy - hes #1 A-OK in my book.
I second the first sentence.Originally Posted by crashnburn'd

Indeed, that's part of the issue. Right now, it's hard to tell whether it is purly hype or whether the bike can back it up. There just aren't that many of them out there and those that are haven't been for long.Originally Posted by Particle
VPP bikes from SC appear to have bearing longevity issues in the lower linkage because it collects a lot of dirt. Most of the people complaingin about it aren't your typical weekend warriors though.
Also, I've heard a significant amount of rumbling about the long chainstays on the nomad. Conventional wisdom is that longer chainstays contribute to improved downhill stability, but reduce the quickness in tight twisty's and climbing.
I get to wait before I'm buying anything anyways so I'll be observing and dreaming until then.

COME JUMPING SATURDAY MORNING!
How many people talking shit about the Nomad have ridden one beyond a parking lot?
It's heartbreaking to see a chick who's too anorexic.
