    The mountain is looking amazing this week after a record breaking snowstorm dropped 34” of snow above the 4000’ mark. This is enough snow to find some early preseason turns if you know where to look. Click on the weather link for the USFS Avalanche bulletin and get the latest status before you head up.     Congrats but its PA , not to mention its gonna be a big kick in the balls when its 55 next week and raining everyday. But enjoy it while it lasts! And keep thinking only about 7 more weeks till Seven Springs OPENS!

    8 inches at Hidden Valley Pa this as of time of post(still snowing hard), I am heading up at 11:30, and will have full TR then.

    Octomber Turns in pa, a once in a lifetime event.

    i kid you not.... as i was sitting around this morning, sipping coffee and getting ready to head out for work, a story flashed onto the TV screen about the snow at seven springs. they showed some shots of the snow-covered deck outside of foggy goggle, and mentioned something about rain falling out there later today.

    but yeah, it looks like yinz better redd up dem snoe ball throen arms n'at.
