Interest in backcountry course in Colorado or Washington?

One of the companies I work for was looking into setting up a ski mountaineering course this winter. It could take a lot of formats, AVIE 1 would be a prerequisite, but could also be combined into the course. And depending on the group's level / interest, it could be an intro into backcountry, or more alpine specific, using ropetricks and all the rest. It would be taught by an AMGA certified alpine guide. Anywhere from a 1 day intro to multi-day technical course.

I think most people who have taken a backcountry course know how beneficial it is. You get a lot more out of your days after it. At least that’s been my experience. Of course a maggot deal could be worked out if a group was put together. Thoughts?

I have some interest. My problem is that my ski days have been so limited that I'm reluctant to commit to a class.

I’ll be in Washington this winter. I’ve taken avy 1. I might be interested.

I'd be interested, and have some non-mag friends interested as well... in CO, that is. It'd have to be on the weekend.
