    Winter(Jackson) and Spring(anywhere) jobs needed

Moving to Jackson from Yurp in mid-dec. and I needs a job - preferably one with some lift pass privileges.

Then when that dries up I'm looking for something to tide me over until mid-June. Somewhere close to good spring touring would be great.

If anyone has needs or suggestions I'd be really appreciative.

    Thanks

Me: MS in Geology (interests in GIS, hydrology, geomorphology), sailing instructor, WFR, skier.

No kidding...I have a feeling lift maintenance is going to be REALLY busy over the next couple years.

There is a job fair coming up...i think its this weekend? I know a lot of the departments hire through that. It might be hard for you to find a job since you aren't going to be here until after most positions will already be filled. There are a plethora of jobs that offer passes, just depends what you want to do. Ski school, lift op, mtn photog, bartend, etc.

Spring touring in JH is pretty good (from what I hear...), but the job market is weak. You could always work for the temp agency or do construction or something.

I would recommend checking out Jackson's site, they have job postings listed and you can apply online. In the spring, jobs are hard to come by in any mountain community except for of course construction which hires like crazy. Good luck with it, and way to go moving to follow the dream.

Indeed. He was caught spraying about all the 15 year old girls in the camp he slept with.

Fair question - should've mentioned earlier that it's only a fall term gig. The school doesn't operate in the spring.

I may have had a stroke of genius, though. Boatyards/yacht clubs on lake Tahoe.

There's some sailing on Lake Dillon in Summit County. They're wanting certified instructors in the summer. And the spring/summer skiing here is amazing...

Or maybe you could get a night gig in one of the mines around here.
