The Hellgate’s dimensions may have you thinking, "Why it’s the exact same as the Attaque." However, this is a perfect example that skis must be skied and not crunched by numbers. While the Attaque had a tendency to scare people at speed, the Hellgate plasters a big smile on instead. The ski absolutely devours firm conditions. Set the ski on edge and enjoy the carve. But, and this is important, they are equally adept in sloppy snow. "Great all-around ski. Held an edge on ice and ate up the crud," said tester Paul Miller. This is a fun, stable ski capable in various snow conditions. Like the Big Bang, the tip may cause problems when hooking your skins. The Hellgate’s were the only ski to be unanimously voted Editor’s Choice.
