$2300 for a full XTR LT? Even if that is w/out a fork, it's still an outrageous deal.

As far as I know, this company has been putting up auctions on EBay for the last month or so. Every single listing has been shut down by EBay in short order, only to other listings pop up soon after. I would stick by the old adage...
if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Holy shit, 1400 bucks for a Cervelo Soloist Team. Full dura ace....damn.

2600 for a cannondale tri bike with full campy record and zipp 404s.

Whats the deal with this place?

Someone should go to Helena and buy a bunch of bikes.

Given Stump's assertion that they're less than solid, I'd recommend using an escrow service. Just to be on the safe side.

Unless you can give a buddy the money and have him go to the shop and physically pick up the bike, you are begging to become Ebay Scam Victim #592751.

C'mon, look at those friendly salespeople in those pictures, do they look like the kind of people who would screw you?

yeah prices are completely outrageous. weird thing is they stress that they want to use escrow service as well. i tried calling today but got answering machine, want to get in touch w someone at the shop to discuss. Not only are those deals ridiculous, but theres no way some rando shop in montana has all of those bikes in every size AND wants to just basically give them away at these prices.
    but what if...

I'm guessing the sizes left are 49 and 68 road - 14.5" and 24" mountain.

I'm just going off bullshit like this:

    clear scam

Location: Helena, MT. Check out "view seller's other items". They are all auctions on supposedly brand new bikes, starting at $1. Multiple alarms here - private auction, very few feedbacks relative to the volume of listings they have (member since 2001, 64 feedbacks, yet they have 400 items listed right now), and the best one:

"Please do not bid on the auction!!! Contact us via email for an order (with your size and colour to check availability). This is a fixed price sale at the buy it now price."

If any of you guys are gonna go through with this, let me know. its weird that they have one bike seat for sale as well. But if this was a scam, why would they advocate escrow?

by the way, thats horrible news about this African Prince you know. Please PM me with details as to how I can help.

I would guess they are advocating an escrow service of their own choosing, which will do nothing but take your money.

Mapquest has the glass case of emotion closer to Helena than under the bridge down by the river. Otherwise, I'd go.

Maybe they're the smartest store ever

Maybe by having you call before bidding they came up with a clever way to get around the crap that follows Cupolo's around. If I were closer... as in not 860.72 miles (thankyou mapquest, you're so kind) I'd check it out first hand, because those prices are crrrazzzy.

I screwed up my own word play; it should have said

As far as I know, this place doesn't exist. I have a friend who lives there who could check it out, but it would be a waste of his time. If you really think it might be a real store, I'll call him up.
