    Screwed on Ebay

Last week I purchased a pair of Sally 977's(Driver 6-14)on ebay for $40.00 shipped. I was pretty stoked.

They arrived today, and to my dismay they are not 6-14s with burly metal heel, they are 4-12s with a plastic heel.

    Damn!

contacted seller here's what she said:
Cliff, My husband wrote the description for the bindings. I forwarded your response to him and his statement follows: I don't really know why he wants the higher DIN, but mistakes happen. we'll refund you minus shipping, please ship bindings back as they arrived to you.

I am not ridiculous for refusing to take the shipping charges up the ass right?
I mean they listed the bindings as 6-14s. If there was no din description and I got dissapointed tough shit, but I think it's on them.

I really like this statement from the seller: "I don't really know why he wants the higher DIN, but mistakes happen."

Huh? Some of us like our skis to stay on our feet, asshole.

They falsely advertised the item and imo, you should be refunded in full. You could get the ebay moderator involved and try to force them to pay for the shipping. Might be more of a hassle than it's worth, though.

    From lady:
The terms of the sale were 100% money back guarantee except S&H Delivery. I have not done a refund on PayPal but will investigate. Otherwise I will mail the check. The amount of the refund will be $24.99.
Uh yeah but the terms of the sale were for a 6-14 binding. sheesh

    edit.from auction page.
Seller's return policy: Item must be returned within: 7 DaysRefund will be given as: Money Back

    Question

Let me know if you need the services of the eBay hit squad.

    What is the seller's ID?

well she sent me a refund of $25.71, the actual binding price. Shipping was a hefty $15.00, now she wants me to ship tese suckers all the way back to Essex CT. Now that would be stupid. I am going to press for the $15.00 and find the shittiest, slowest, post service I can find and send these back.

SuPu, let you know if need the ebay hit squad. Her id is

I am confused. She should still be responsible for shipping BOTH ways, IMVHO. It was their mistake they should incur all the costs.

SP, I need your hit squad services. I got scammed for $650 from some German idiot. I wired the cash to his account for a pair of 190 Gotamas and haven't gotten a single thing from him. It's been over a month.

USPS has a "book rate" that should take 2-3 weeks. Just make sure you package them up before you take them to the PO because it's supposed to only be for books.

You're basically just going to have to take it up the ass on that one. It was said before, NEVER use a wire transfer overseas! With a feedback rating of 128 you should've known better.

Yeah, I know. He sounded legit. He's even got a brick and morter store. He said I could pay with PayPal, but I had to tack another 10% on there. I opted to go with the wire and I lost.

Any German mags near Ingolstadt that want to make some easy cash?
