    Barbados?

Has anyone been? Can you recommend a place to stay with the lady? How big is the Reef Bowl Pro-Am, regional vs. international event? Should we expect the crowds to increase dramatically?

    Thanks!

I have surfed there a couple of timespretty mellow locals Soup Bowls in fun,Bathshebe N.E. corner of the island. There are some good breaks on the west side of the Island. One spot in particular is right is front of th Glitter Bay resort,a very pricey spot but great hotel non the less! Sandlords castle is nice.
There used to be a bed & breakfast right on the beach @ soup Bowls I have no idea how it is, check the Surf Report on Surfline.com for better up to date local knowledge!

The Edgewater Inn is right over Soup Bowls. I have never stayed there, but some friends have and they liked it.

Some of the nicest beaches in the world are on the West coast of the island. It's a great place, but not cheap.

I haven't been in a while (used to live there) and I hear it's changing mostly for the worse.

    Thanks for the info.

In the event that we don't stay in Bathsheba, how long does it take to circumnavigate the island? Seems like there are many lodging options in the South....
