Since it seems Drake Powderworks are apparently dropping the swallowtailed TablaRasa/Lotus and is making it a bit longer and full twinned, i am dropping the order.


Now comes the tricky part.
What other brands have superfats (110-130mm) with swallowtails?

Ingenous (could find their website)?
Solly teamriders (well, 205 a bit long if you could ever find them)

But, that´s it. Or?

Does any of the small boutiques have anything similar?




Or...does anybody happen to have a pair of tablas for sale, by any chance...

Dood, allready contacted samu about the sticks...
Dont know, he didnt sound too exited about shaping those sticks. If i undersood right, his molds are too narrow or something.
And making the swallow might be a problem?

But those Iggy FFFs looked fucking GORGEOUS!!!
And people seem to love their Iggys.
Anyone have theese, btw?

The capital skis looked nice too, but with a new start up company, i havent found any reviews about how those skis. The Trashers sounds nice though, and are 300$ cheapper than iggies.


And those sanouks are too goddam skinnys...


How does the lengts compare in Iggys and Capitals, anyone know?
Like comparing to sanouks or tablas or what ever?

those capitols look really nice, but iggy's for sure have the proven track record. i have owned 3 pairs, and am about to pick up a 4th.

I'm also awaiting my Trashers, which should be here shortly. Not sure that Capitol is really a "startup"... I believe they've been doing this for at least two years now. I ordered the Thrasher because it's almost the same profile as the Tabla (which I also had on order last year, and canceled). And the pinstripe wood topsheet is perhaps the only thing nicer looking than the Iggy, imho.

Here's a little look at the Capital's:



They look very, very nice. Little splotchy on the topsheet of one of them (light splotches between the clear finish and the wood veneer), but otherwise, sweet.
