    Don't know you, but know your situation too well. About a year out my scans showed "nodular opacities" consist with metastasis. We waited an agonizing six weeks for repeats scans. The PET scan lit up, but it does so with any inflammatory process. Holy shit, the stuff that you deal with when during that limbo period is unbelievalbly intense.

    At six weeks the nodules looked less round and more fuzzy. Repeat scans determined that it was all likely scarring from radiation. So, you DON"T KNOW UNTIL YOU KNOW. Don't let yourself float down that river of doubt. The most important thing is: Do you feel cancer-free? Then live that way and make every day count. Being scared, not the fear you feel standing above big air, but real vulnerable fear that comes from not having control, is normal. However, it is the enemy so don't let it take over.

    Good luck with everything. Sorry this experience is so common. Keep kickin' cancer's ass.

    You are in my prayers guy. My mom is dealing with lung cancer right now. The last few weeks have been filled with bone, brain,cat,pet and whatever scans. The waiting is horrible. All her tests are done and we await the results. Hang tough guy and do what you can to keep a positive attitude. If you are still in the Phila. area, remember the best around practice here. Please let us know asap.
