I was wondering if anyone knows the wieghts of certian skis. More specifically, I was wondering what the weight difference between the scratch BC and the sick bird was, since it seems to be the exact same ski (as far as deminisions). Also, I wondering how heavy some volkyl are, such as, the mantra, gotama, explosiv. The reason I am wondering, is that I am in the market for a ski to mount touring bindings on and I am thinking a lighter ski will not only prolong the life of the binding, but will also make skinning that much easier. So far I have been looking at the rossi sick bird and the black diamond havoc (but if the sick bird is exactly the same as last years scratch bc, i might as well find a used ski for cheap).

backcountry mag has ski reviews w/weights in the latest issue. also 'sposed to have archived reviews on their website.
