    Really cool homegrown video

Doug Evans has been making movies. He's one of my best friends at Loveland and has been a huge mentor for me and helped me with every aspect of skiing over the last few years. Including bolting my Explosivs back together when I was too broke to buy skis. Such a sweetheart.

Anyway here's a movie Doug made of Eben Mond - an absolutely ripping tele skier and also a pretty cool guy. I am so proud I feel like I'm gonna bust. Enjoy!

That video was good but did nothing other than remind me how much I suck.

I'm a little dissapointed that Eben cut the dreads, but he still rips. Both him and Doug have made huge impressions on me. Doug is one of the most fast, fluid, and strong skiers I've ever seen. If I could ski like anyone in the world, it would be Doug.

Yup. You need some weight on you before you'll be able to drive the big skis the way Doug does. This summer at the Whistler camp he spent a lot of time switch too. He pops it back and forth now like it's no biggee. And he was going down the groomage switch yesterday as fast as I was skiing frontwise...

Eben is on a mission and he has a vision. Maybe losing the dreads is part of that. He got picked up by Rossi - a really good spancership for comps and everything. He knows what he's doing. Last year it was so cool to see him come in the house with pair after pair of Volkls. But this year he'll be on these:

Kristen and Darcy and I are planning to ski together a lot this season and compete too. You know Darcy coaches Loveland's race team and said she'd be way cool with helping us progress too.

Anyway, we're all super lucky to be skiing at Loveland - it's an awesome family to be part of.
