Oct. 26, so hot for bellingham

You have a choice, or a combination of choices.

first choice: the annual mt. baker film festival at the mt. baker theatre. Everybody gets together, talks preseason shit, drinks beer, makes fun of bakerboy, watches a bunch of snowboarding movies and 10 min. of the tgr flick, and then goes downtown for slideshows, miget money, and more shittalking and beer

second choice: Lyrics Born is playing the Nitelight. His new cd same shit different day kicks ass seriously. Plus the concert is only $12 if you buy early.

combo choice: Movie fest, and then to Lyrics Born.

Oct. 26 definately doesn't not rule

If I leave here on the 25th, maybe I'll make a guest appearance . . . but only if I get to be famous and actually be there for it

    Question

Any Seattle peeps wanna head up? I can't get out of work, but would be willing to drive up to B'ham for the circus and return (yes, sober) the same evening. I'll be the DD

You'll probably see me at Lyrics Born. After seeing them in Jackson last winter, I must see them again. Plus, Midget Money massively sucks dick, and I can hang out with a bar full of hippies anytime I want -- I'll just follow mbs down to Boundary Bay.

Yeah yeah, it was dark at the Moose and I was really drunk. Anyhow, Lateef and Lyrics Born = Latryx. Those Quannum guys are so confusing. I can't even remember who slip and I saw in Bozeman in March, but I'm pretty sure it was Lateef and Gift of Gab, with a full horn section. Pretty rad, except I puked that night, too. Whoops.

For those that knew Skoog, there will be a group of us, leaving the Mt. Baker theater at intermission to head over to the Wild Buffalo to have a beer in his memory.

Also, the ski area will be doing a tribute to Carl tomorrow night, in the form of a slide show of some of his best work, that was sent in courtesy of Powder, Skiing, Backcountry and Coulior.

Then come and check out my slideshow at the wildbuffalo. Looking at ski pics is far better than going to another concert.
