Am I the only one that is ready for winter to begin?

Last year my first day was BC on the board and snowshoes on Oct 23 at Tony Grove. I am ready again.

    And you?

Goddamn I am DIALED into fall this year. Totally prepared for a wait-to-ski fall and early winter.

I just got back from the latest appointment with my ortho surgeon. He tugged on the leg, pronounced the knee good, and didn't schedule another appointment!
    I am ready.

Hell yes, very good new man.

I don't care one way or the other. Winter can start, or it can take some more time, either way I'm having a good time.

Awesome!!! I know how it feels, got my ok like 3 weeks ago on the broken/tib fib and the bruised hamstring and femur. I've started walking to work instead of riding the bike to prep for not being able to ride the bike due to snow.

I'm ready! I'm sick of all this damn warm weather here in Denver!

Already started skiing, but I'm ready for some pow! (well mentally, maybe not physically)

Well, it was one year ago yesterday when the Wasatch started getting pounded with something like 123" between then and Oct 31st. When will it start this year? I'm already having my "what happens if it never starts to snow" nightmares

I'd be cool with things if it started to snow soon.

[sigh]I'd also be cool if it started to snow, but also cool if it didn't. I'm stoked to ski / board, but I'm also content at the moment. [/heaving contented sigh]

Interesting results, I thought there would have been more dissention to this query among this group. Put me down for a heck yes I want it to snow, for training I've been running 4 miles 3 times a week, lifting weights, and driving up and down I-25 in rush hour traffic.

Ya, tell me about it I have dreams like that all the time. (No snow dreams) I emailed a guy at the NWS he said that it may be about like last year but it could go either way.
