first impressions

flexwise they aren't noodles, actually interestingly enough they flex very similarly to my 165 explosives, except the explosive has a little more flex in the tip

lengthwise I was plesantly surprised, I was expecting to lose some length due to the full twin but when I line up my 178 G4's the running length apears to be very close

construction feels pretty bomber, this is the first pair of K2's I've owned and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The tips look huge, K2 says 118 but they look bigger then my G4's which also measure 118, I wonder if they measure from farthest forward contact point?

Mounting location is gonna be interesting, midsole seems to be even with the midsole on the G4 but even though I don't ski park I'm thinking about going +1 or +2. I get the feeling that I'm crazy but the ski seems to be talking to me and telling me to mount it forward It'd probably stiffen up the softer tail which would be good

You're not crazy, you're just confused. Most people mount those anywhere from +5 to +9. Then again, most people use park skis for the park.

actually they were for my wife, but she didn't like em and got Phat Luv instead

then she blew her knee out so, they're just mounted up as a short fat ski for whatever reason

im so jealous, i want to fondle them. I just ordered a pair two days ago and dont know why. Suuucks that reason told me i could wait until i get back to seattle to pick them up. because i want to touch them.
