Hey that looked like Ocean Beach last night! 4-6 foot

It was insane. Surfed 4-8pm. watched the sunset, then it got dark, watched the full moon rise, surfed braille for an hour, kept getting slammed on blind late takeoffs, couldn't get the Jaws theme out of my head, then went in.

uhh, i actually am just getting over an inner ear infection that i'm sure i got in the water. i thought i was going crazy during the past few months, i couldn't drink coffee, i had weird motion sickness and shit was just fucked up. two weeks of ear drops (4x a day) and i'm back to "normal".

nothing will beat what things looked like last january though.

Nice shot tuffy. I shoulda stayed in the South Bay on Sunday. I shot the ISA contest down in Huntington and kept thinking that the howling sideshore wind down there would be offshore up here. I bailed early and after a bite to eat at the Beach Hut, shot some fun rights spinning off the jetty for about an hour before the wind kicked up and the rain came back. Super low tide in the afternoon as well. Anyways, lame shot but an idea on how good it was. And no, this didn't close out 2 seconds later.
