    Who Cares?

Who the hell would know who the top skiers are? (Advertising dollars spent)
The only people qualified to vote are, are Pro skiers.

And then there is the side bar issue of (Who Cares)

Powder could do polls about lots of things that would be meaningfull to Powder skiers, why an arbitrary Who is best poll?

We would. We watch the movies, we see the pics in mags, we know who is killing it.

    Oh, and I care.

Cause KD asked us to, and we like KD.

If KD sends me a nice new POWDER sticker for the back of the car I'm going to buy this week I'll vote.

Drop down menus, Edg. Type the first few letters, and a whole list appears.

I'm confused by this. If it were related to Advertising dollars, why would we be asking you?

Is it bad that I voted for Ingrid on all 5 of my female votes?

    Hey Dineen-

FYI, I was too lazy to go over and post at pmag but since you're here and all:

You guys have a long track record of picking the MSP movie over the TGR when the TGR one is clearly the superior effort. Don't blow it again this year cause once again TGR blows the doors off the MSP flick. That said, those are the only two I've seen so far and I'm not opposed to some other offer taking the top prize but if chosing (as perpetually is the case) between them there is no contest.

And whoever designed how that poll works You'll know my vote because it is just for one person, I guess you'll have to figure out who Hu is

Yeah, the poll thing sucks. I did the same thing. I talked to them about it last year, and was given the disclaimer on top.

I'll assume Hu is some vietnamese skier we haven't heard of.

    Haven't seen Tangerine yet.

Yes, his springroll style is really takin'er to the next level this year!

Fat fucking good the disclaimer does, nobody reads that shit. It isn't that hard to make the autocomplete "tab" selectable and to make it so you have to highlight the submit button before hitting enter to submit. Jesus.

Let's get AKPM in there as top skier of the year. Just cuz.

definitely gonna have to throw a vote in for Kirkwood local Craig Garbiel in that top 10. Dude doesn't seek out photos (aside from the AK Skis ad in Freeskier) or films so not many people know of him, but he kicked some ass on the big mountain tour this year. Not sure where he finished in the final tour standings but I believe his results were something like:

8th or 9th at Snowbird + the Sickbird award
    1st at Taos
    1st at Kirkwood
top 10 (maybe top 5?) at one of the Euro events (can't remember which)

Over 2,000 votes last year, Brutah. It's gonna take more than you and your friends. Last year I was psyched that I beat everyone else on the powder staff.
