    Overused terms such as:

    'beta' - it should be used to gather information on something related to mountaineering or other backcountry adventure. You don't ask for beta on a subaru or on a pair of volkls or the like.

    'TR' - It's a trip report. Like if you go on a trip, you write a report that serves to inform and educate others. Typically it's good if a TR is from some exotic trip (South America) or a pretty cool backcountry trip. I've seen TRs from movies, bars, random days at a ski resort, hell, there was a 'TR' from two guys sitting home getting wasted.

    people with far, far more gear questions than days on snow per year. There's more to skiing than buying shit, seems like the actual skiing takes a back seat to spending money on it.

    We have a resonable amount of skiing-related content. We have an adequate amount of NSFW. We don't have nearly enough NSFW skiing-related content. That fucking pisses me off.
