Windows XP activation code?

Anyone know any XP codes that work?

So my IT bitches resurrected my once-dead personal laptop (the Dell Latititude with 3 years worth of porn and mp3s). Basically they pulled out all the info and saved to an external HD, formatted the drive, installed XP and it's all good.

I kept getting the "You have x days to activate Microsoft Windows XP" and just ignored it.

This morning I can't log in to view my porn, or update my iPod. I don't use my current work laptop for this.

I googled Windows XP activation code and found a whole bunch of cracks but none seem to work.

AYUDA!!!

(Edit: PS- when I tried the alpha-numeric codes I googled, I get a pop-up immediately saying that "codes can only be numeric" or something)

How about taking the code off the work laptop you have? Are they both the same verison of XP? That might work. You have to download a little program to do that, i used this one. http://www.mvps.org/marksxp/WindowsXP/prodkey.php

(oh, and you're looking for a "product key" not an activation code, I believe.

Thanks! I'll check the link out. My work laptop runs on 2000 and personal laptop runs on XP.

What happend you your CD Key? Did you by any chance register any products with Microsoft? If you did you could call them up and they'd give it to you.
