    Tanner Hall Mogul Skier

I have heard that tanner hall used to be a mogul skier before he switched freestyle. Like when he was 16. Was it right or wrong. And can someone post a link proving this maybe.

tanner was on the freestyle team at big mountain from around 12-13 untill he moved to park shitty at 17 or something. he did ski bumps and compete a little bit but never really got into the bump side too much. he took gymnastics in his elementary years so jibbing came pretty natural to him.

“Kid, I don’t even care about contests anymore,” Tanner says. “Everyone working for Armada is part of something. Not like Salomon that has like 700 people working for them all over the world, yo. It’s ridiculous.”

“The whole program is changing. We need more rider-driven companies that are dope. Out with the old, in with the new. We’re not even at the beginning of it, man. You’re not comprehending…we’re coming.”

Wow, Tate. Given the history of this place, that's quite a claim.

    all the tanner hate aside,

tanner hall was a very good mogul skier back in the day. He dominated the scene in the far north division and then in 1997 or 98 moved to park city, where he was on the snowbird team, he ended up training mostly with the park city freestyle team with the likes of Nate Roberts, who will be competing in torino. Nate and tanner used to take first and second in both the big air and mogul competitions. They have all the competition results still archieved on the USSA site if you want to check it out for yourself.

Tanner Hall also makes an appearance in one of the Warren Miller mogul sequences from a few years back, if you need video proof.
