    Best Dylan Cover...

...besides Hendrix doing "Watchtower", of course. I vote for the Violent Femmes version of Positively 4th Street.

I am not sure if it's the best, but I think Ministry's cover of "Lay Lady Lay" is pretty good.

Guns 'n Roses, Knocking on Heaven's Door.

I think Micheal Ness did a decent cover of Don't Think Twice, It's Alright, but still maintain that this song could make for the best cover if given the proper punk treatment.

Sick and ashamed and happy (and Neil Young has done a pretty smokin' version of Watchtower),

"When I Paint My Masterpiece"; Grateful Dead.

The song is on the CD titled "Postcards of the Hanging". It is collection of Dylan tunes performed live. Dylan sings/plays on 1 song. Overall, it is 85% excellent and would reco to Dead-heads.

Clunker: The Dead's version of "All Along the W." is disappointing.

Johnny Winter doing "Highway 61 Revisited".

    Donna The Buffalo doing "Senor"

Also the White Stripes have done several quite well.
