How many helmets do you have?

How many helmets do you have?
...Cause of the other (gimp central) thread, I thought this might be kinda interesting. I have a closet full of helmets. They include:

    Full face ski (flint sc)
    Roadie (specialized M1)
    Kayak (shred ready I think)
Lacrosse (cascade not new, but the one before that)

As much as I try to destroy my brain with booze, splitting it open on earth still doesn't seem like a good idea. Who can beat me?

Edit: moved from gimp central. This seems more appropriate.
You look like I need a drink.

3 XC bike helmets, 2 old ones and an E2 that needs replacing soon too.
Bell Rhythm Pro full face - light DH but I wanted something beefier for racing
    TLD helmet for DH
HJC helmet for dirt biking (heavier than the TLD so no way I'd use it without a motor)
    Giro 9 ski helmet (old)
    Scott ski helmet (new)
Acid ski/bike helmet (vent pads come in and out so I could use it for skiing or MTX/DS)

5 of those helmets are still in active use. The rest could probably go. But hell, I think there are 5 or 6 pairs of straight skis in the garage too. I'm a gear packrat. Just because I'll never use it again doesn't mean I need to get rid of it!

girlguide and are are like that too, so we said that

    1) if you haven't used it in 12 mounths you dont need it. THROW IT OUT

    2) if you buy more gear it has to replace something, and you have to get rid of the old gear.

we still have 2 XC mnt bike, 2 single speed, 1 road bike, 2 town bikes.

    skis: ???? way too many

I'd never really given it much thought, but for some reason it appears I have 5 helmets. 2 bike helmets, 1 full face, 1 roadie. 2 ski helmets, 1 full face 1 regular. And an old climbing helmet from when I was into caving. I may be a gear whore.

I too just realized how many useless helmets I have. Selling one of them (Giro 9.9MX), and willing to give away the Ovo Titan I have lying around. Haven't worn it in 3 winters, and then only for a few days. Anybody want it? I guess I'll cross post to gear-swap. It's super rad extremeo carbon fiber.

    3 paddling, 1 MTB, 1 MTB full-face, 2 Giro Mad Max S, and 2 Giro G10MX on the way.
